Week of March 4th

I believe today was my favorite program to date!   I LOVE our kids and all of their dance moves. :)  I can only imagine they learned there moves from their parents.

Here are a few reminders for the week:

-  Jersey Monday.

-  Math Test Wednesday.

-  Spring Break begins March 9th!

-  We are in need of three cans of whip cream.  Please let me know if you are willing to send these to school on Monday.

-  Please upload the Pizza Fraction app onto your child's Ipad.  It is a free app.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Here is a sneak peek of our week:

Language Arts:  We will begin a class research project on Martin Luther King, Jr.  The kids will go through the whole research process and will write a one page report on what they have learned.  All of this will be done in class.  

Spelling Words:  research, innovator, equal, March, learn, America, world, should, could, and imagine

Challenge Words:  scientists, source, biography, project, and nonfiction

Math:  We will be wrapping up Fractions this week in centers.  The centers will involve hands-on games that I am sure the students will LOVE!
