Week of February 10th

The First grade travelers have had a GREAT week learning about India.  The kiddos are really enjoying our book and are very anxious to read ahead.  Please check out the supplies below that we will need for our India crafts and Valentine Party.

Here are a few reminders:
-  Wear BDS P.E. attire on Monday.
-  Please make sure to return library books on Thursday.
-  Valentine Party:  First grade will have our Valentine party on Friday from 10:30 to 12:00.  We are going to play several Valentine Minute to Win It games and have fun treats to eat.  We are in need of the following supplies:  Valentine marshmallows, several bags of conversation hearts, Valentine cookies, Valentine candy corn, and 16 White bags.  I will need the white bags on Monday for the students to be able to decorate.  All the other supplies do not have to be here until Thursday.  Please check with Terri Parker for more details about the party.
-  India Craft:  We will be creating an elephant as part of our lessons this week.  I am in need of jewels for this activity.
- We will have an early dismissal February 14 at 12:00.
-  There is No School on Monday the 17th.

Here is a sneak peek at our week:
